Stylistically awkward in that some of the songs seem to be Mark songs and some Greg songs but there is definitely some material here that rolls the two together. Overall, I just love it. This is the first music of Dulli's that I've heard, and while he combines with Lanegan to produce a compelling sound, I am not sufficiently impressed to seek out his other recordings. Item is in your Cart.

They were probably aiming for hypnotic or dreamy, but except for the cinematic bookends 'The Stations' and 'Front Street,' the slow dances mostly crash-land in Snoresville.

Nice collaboration resulting in a good final product. Years later, Dulli stills writes compelling, dark music with swing and a touch of funk. Though I love Lanegan. DiS Picks Its Best Intense, dark, brooding - but a sense for the melodic which makes this an essential listen.
